Tucked away just a stone's throw from Dam Square, Swissotel Amsterdam provided the perfect backdrop for our recent city escape. Upon arrival, the accommodating staff went the extra mile, securing our luggage while we explored the charming canals. Their warm hospitality made our early check-in feel seamless, especially given the comfort of our room, complete with luxurious bedding that felt like sleeping on a cloud. One delightful morning, I savored a scrumptious breakfast featuring freshly baked bread and seasonal fruits at ROYAL98, their adjacent restaurant. The thin-crust pizzas and delectable pasta dishes reverberated with the vibrant energy of Holland's culinary scene, making it hard to leave! For design enthusiasts, the spacious bathroom, adorned with imported stones from Switzerland, was a treat. The location truly shines, only a 10-minute walk from the Red Light District and the central train station, making it easy to combine sight-seeing with creativity. Swissotel will always hold a special place in our hearts, a sanctuary in an artistic city that never fails to inspire. I can't wait to return!
